Thank you for your interest in the Biagi engineering team. In our forty plus years of engineering consulting we have continuously striven to be a value-added service to our clients. Our emphasis on 3D design is an excellent example of this. This early commitment, dating to the 1980s, has provided documented reduction in project bids. Through this added design clarity contractors have repeatedly praised the positive impact on their construction efforts.

Our experienced team of over eighty firm members is led by fifteen firm owners. All of our projects are led by a firm owner, insuring an entrepreneurial approach to project delivery.

Throughout our history we have performed mechanical, electrical and civil engineering services to institutional, educational, governmental and industrial clients. Design of life systems has been key to our success in maintaining client relationships.

Sustainable Design. Our first building to be LEED certified was Madison State Hospital in 2006. Our LEED accredited professionals will be your advocate in insuring implementation of green and sustainable design concepts, whether or not LEED is your focus. This sustainable focus has culminated in our recent “Net Zero” energy facility design – the Chrisney Library in Spencer County.

Information Technology. Our staff certification as Registered Communications Distribution Designer is the gold standard for client assurance that we are providing state-of-the-art telecommunications and data solutions.

Building Information Modeling. We committed over two years ago to taking our long term 3D design approach to the next level of BIM. We have already completed over twenty BIM designs for mechanical/electrical systems. The long term advantage to our clients is substantial in added value of the documents for their use as a facilities management tool.

Energy Conservation Opportunities. We have a track record of developing energy alternatives for our clients. We often perform energy analysis to compare system alternatives. In addition, we have investigated and/or implemented advanced energy conservation opportunities such as thermal storage and cogeneration for clients including the Sony Corporation, Clarian Health Partners, and the University of Southern Indiana .
