Project:  Indiana University South Bend Student Activities Center

Project involved over 120,000 square foot of space for student activities, recreation and athletics opportunities for students. Provides for basketball, handball, volleyball, weight training, elevated running track and aerobic activities as well as student offices and café areas.  Includes varsity basketball court with seating for 1,600.  HVAC system design encapsulates the usage of energy efficient variable frequency drive systems and VAV type air handling units to support the multi-room occupancy areas of the facility.  The electrical system also utilized special lighting technique and fixtures to meet the operation need of the space.

Project:  Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority House - IU Bloomington

New sorority house on Indiana University campus.  Three story with basement.  Full food service kitchen.  Housing for 107 student members.  Four pipe fan coil system with conditioned outdoor make-up air system to maintain indoor air quality

Project: Addition of Biological Science Laboratory - IU Bloomington

Feature:      Chemical and Biology Laboratories including animal quarters covering the complete spectrum of college teaching and research work.

Project: Herron School of Art (Sculpture and Ceramics) - IU Purdue Indianapolis

Centralization of Sculpture and Ceramics Departments for IUPUI campus.  Major steel/metals sculpture studios for heavy welding and cutting.  Woodworking and plastics shops and equipment areas with appropriate dust and waste removal systems.  Kiln areas, both interior and exterior to building, with electric and gas fired kilns.

Project:  Cooling Tower Condenser Water Study - Purdue University

Project consists of performing a hydraulic analysis of the cooling tower water system serving the Wade Power Plant to determine system cooling tower water system capacity in relation to chiller operation.  The system was modeled using Kentucky Pipes 2000 with (6) 15,000 gpm pumps.  Pipe size varied from 72” to 20” diameter.  Alternative improvements were modeled and recommendations provided to upgrade system capacity and performance.
