William J. Hosmon, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, CxA
Principal, Director of Mechanical Engineering
William graduated from the University of Evansville with his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1975. He additionally earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1976 and started with BCCLT later that year. William is registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia. He is professionally affiliated with the American Council of Engineering Companies, LEED as an Accredited Professional, Certified Energy Manager, Association of Energy Engineers, Certified Demand-Side Management Professional, and Certified Green Building Engineer.
William is responsible for leading BCCLT in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design. He has extensive experience in educational, governmental, industrial and institutional projects. He focuses on Sustainable/Green mechanical system design, including geothermal ground source heat pump systems, heat recovery utilization, building management systems, energy efficient equipment selection and applications.
William enjoys working with Building Teams and Facility Departments, mentoring young engineers.
When he’s not working, William enjoys doing yardwork, attending and watching sporting events, visiting his 5 grown children and 3 grandsons, traveling, relaxing at the beach and hiking.
